I liked the actual story, but it was difficult to read.1. I agree with a lot of the other reviewers who said that the "book" was too short. It shouldn't even be considered a book, since it only appears to be chapters 1 & 2. It leaves off at an inconvenient place. In fact, each of these "mini books" is only 2-3 chapters long, basically starting where the previous one left off. It's really seriously irritating to have to download each few chapters at a time instead of just downloading the entire book.
2. It was especially difficult to read out loud, which is how I was reading this story most of the time. I like to try to improve my reading/speaking ability by reading out loud and there were quite a lot of grammatical errors and words missing. At first, I thought it was just me. I thought I was just not a good reader. But then, I thought, "I'm not having these problems when I read other books out loud.". I realized after going back to the beginning of the offending sentence, that the sentence didn't flow. It was missing words or had a word that just didn't belong.
I was able to download the first 4 "books" for free. When I got to the end of the 4th book, there was a link to the "megabook", which is ALL 10 "books", or basically the entire book of 316 pages, for free, so I started where I left off and was able to complete the entire book. If I had not been able to complete the entire book without having to pay more (because I somehow thought that I had downloaded the entire book), I would have been upset. I feel like it's dishonest to sell only a 2-3 chapter sample as an entire book and then have people download the actual book in chapters. When I went to review the "megabook", it's listed as a little under $5. Although this is fairly inexpensive for a book, it still had too many errors. I'm happy I didn't have to pay for it.

The story line isn't bad but each "book" is really short and when you start a new book, the author spends the first chapter telling about what happened in the last book. I've read the first four books and it could have all been put into one book. You can read each book in less than one hour.
Liked these in the series but all of them much too short. Why are authors doing this now? It does not make me happy to read abook in 5 minutes.
Good story line, but I'm not enthusiastic about the shortness of the books. Would be a much better book if there weren't so many "booklets" and just put into one book to read. Seems you just get started and it ends with buy the next "booklet." Even though I liked the story, I won't be going on with more of it.
Ok. Tired of only 2-3 chapters per "book." Was not told this was the case. Now after "free" books, now am asked to pay for each of next installments or "books" as they are called. If I do that, I will end up paying more than I have paid for some full size books. I don't mind paying the price if I know I am getting an entire book, but I don't appreciate feeling like I have been manipulated to make a purchase.
It's a nice story so far, enjoyable and light reading but I don't think I'll be finishing it. I'd much rather prefer it being one book rather than a serial. I like paying up front for a full product rather than dishing out a dollar for each of the many parts of the story.
Book 2 a recap of book 1, turned to a different perspective, but much to much the same!! I thoroughly dislike "books" that are all chopped up into two to three chapters (called book 1,2,3...) out of one actual book, it's deceptive. Although the writing/story telling is decent, it is a big fake on true writing.. Really, to recap the first book and call that book two seems to me to be a bit of a scam. Sad, as I had gotten into the story of the first book, but seeing how it's going, there is no way I'm going to continue. Very disappointing. (

I would rather paid for a series of three books instead of little bits here and there. I love Ms. Price's but the way the books were put together was like, I turn in chapter 1 to the publisher, then Chapter 2, and so on. I liked the story line and that's the only reason I gave her a grade. I've deleted them from my table.
